Here at Acklio, we are pleased to partner with the IIoT summer school. The engineering school IMT Atlantique, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Franco-German Academy for the Future Industry co-organised this first summer school. It was an outstanding event dedicated to the Industrial Internet of Things.
65 researchers, academics, industrials, innovators have gathered in Saint-Malo (France). Together, they have reviewed the new Internet Of Things technologies behind the huge potential emerging in Industry 4.0.
The Industrial IoT summer school followed with the AdHocNow conference. Three days of keynote, workshops and technical sessions on network connectivity, mesh networking, long range radio and cybersecurity. Laurent Toutain, scientific director and co-founder of Acklio, has presented a session about “Why should we bring IP to devices?”. How SCHC protocol, can secure and reduce the full IoT protocol stack (IPv6/UDP/CoAP) to few bytes? How OAM, end-to-end security and device management can benefit this header compression ?
“ It was a great opportunity to meet researchers involved in Industrial IoT and have a complete vision of new trends from deterministic networks to data analytics”, said Laurent Toutain about this event.
